Many people work their entire lives to own a boat — it’s their dream. And we are aware of the trust given to us.
Our clients appreciate our clean and tidy work practices and that their boats are returned as we found them. Most of all, they appreciate our open and honest communication — if there’s a problem, we let them know.
Pine Harbour Electrical was established in 2003. We’ve gained some great clients over the years, and, in fact, about 75% of our clients have been with us since the start.
Our customers have us working all over. Some of the recent projects have had us in Tahiti, Tonga, Japan and recently American Samoa.
National clients boats have us often in Whitianga, Whangamata, Gisborne and Tutukaka.

Ryan Castles
Ryan is a qualified auto electrical engineer. Before establishing Pine Harbour Electrical, he spent seven years at redwood Auto Electrical and four years at Half Moon Bay Electrical.
Passionate about off shore adventure’s and family coastal boating. With multiple game fishing trips and delivery trips to destinations such as the Whanganella Banks, Vanuatu, Tonga, Fiji, American Samoa, Tahiti and Wallas and Favona islands.
Family boating trips all around the North island of NZ and to the top of the South island.

Jonny Allen
Jonny is a qualified auto electrical engineer with 40 years’ experience. He has a very in depth knowledge on all electrical aspects on board. Jonny served his time in South Africa working on busses and heavy machinery. Before joining the team 16 years ago, he spent 10 years with Redwood Auto Electrical. Jonny is also a family man with five kids.

Keanu Higginson
Keanu has completed his Marine Electrical training and has been part of the family for 10 years. He enjoys fishing and coastal boating and even lives on a boat!.
Keanu has been part of some great projects in Nz and off shore working on some well known boats such as Ultimate Lady & Sea Wolf ( Tahiti )

Rolfe Booth
Rolfe joined us 7 years ago and has made his mark around the marina. Rolfe has many years of knowledge under his belt. Raised at sea on a cruise liner he has saltwater in his veins. Rolfe’s technical ability and passion for boats is 100% evident.
